For the Moms

Logos Motherhood Sisters Small Business

To all the moms -

If you’ve been a mom, then you know- heck, if you have a mom- then you know: there is no job more important than being a mom. In today’s modern world, women have risen up and taken their place in the workforce, fought to earn the respect of their communities, and all while juggling the never ending, always tiring- role of being a mother. At Hello Lee Sisters, we are fortunate to have a mother who we can say that we are close to.

Mama Lee always gave us an example of how a mother can be hard working, and loving- at the same time. Born in South Korea, she came to America without knowing any English. She raised us girls while working overnights in a diaper factory (while we produced our own diaper factory for her at home!) She ran on no sleep during the day in order to watch us- yet always showered us with love. Despite the challenges that were laid out before her - she has been running our family teriyaki business 6 days a week, for over 20 years, and somehow manages to have a smile on her face. We don't know anyone more beautiful than her!

The Calla Lily is our moms favorite flower, and serves as the inspiration for one of our logos. Just like a lily in bloom, mothers radiate beauty and we admire you! While we may not be children anymore (even though we act like it sometimes,) we still depend on the love of our mom.

Mother’s- you may feel unnoticed at times, but here at Hello Lee Sisters- we want you to know that: we see you, we love you, and we are proud of you!

xoxo,

Vickie, Cindy + Elisa
